Impacts of transformational leadership on organizational change capability: a two-path mediating role of trust in leadership

Purpose Given the important role of change capability for organizational development and competitive advantage, purpose this study is to clarify influences transformational leadership (TL) on (OCC) via mediating roles two specific aspects trust in namely disclosure-based reliance-based trust. Design/methodology/approach Structural equation modeling applied test degree TL employee OCC empirical data collected from 376 participants 115 small medium firms China. Findings The results show positive significant impacts OCC. It indicated that has a greater influence comparison with effect leadership. Especially, findings have shown evidence supporting mechanism between Research limitations/implications This provides practical initiatives highlight importance applying style build improve employees their fostering Originality/value paper significantly advanced deepened insight how leaders nurture employee’s shades valuable contribute enriching theoretical basis behavior management, can be used analyze explain relationships TL, change.
